Hello!
I’m Clara Pérez Bonfils, CEO of SMOU Insole and pharmacist-orthopedist.
I graduated from the University of Granada in 2010 and subsequently completed a master’s degree in Orthopedics for Pharmacists at the University of Barcelona in 2015, in addition to completing several courses related to the field.

In 2017, I opened my own orthotics and started making custom insoles.
During that time, I realized that many people suffered from foot pain and that standard solutions were often too simple to address complex problems.
In addition, custom options did not always work as expected, and their cost and lead time made them inaccessible to many.

It was then that I decided to conduct a study with my clients who were in pain and who came to me looking for insoles.
Through this analysis, I was able to identify a pattern that led me to believe that I could offer an intermediate solution.

So, in 2019, I founded Smou Insoles with the aim of providing the population with a professional, faster and cheaper solution for the most common problems that affect our feet, creating a line with 4 ranges, which were the 4 main reasons why people came for insoles.
